Happy New Year

its NYE and I only have 2 days left until my trip.  After two full days of packing and cleaning my apartment I'm really ready for this trip.  I just got my new camera today so I'm excited to be able to take lots of great pictures on the trip.  I'll try to send a post soon after my arrival so everyone knows i'm there safe.  Anna and Stacey have told me there's a pool where we are staying so i'm excited for some sun!  Have a great new years and I'll post again from THAILAND!!

a week until the big trip

Hi all, I'm Emma and I'm heading to Asia for several (still unsure) months to do some traveling.  I wanted to start this blog for myself and my friends and family so I can let everyone know what I'm seeing and doing on this trip and so I can have a memory of my experiences.

I'm leaving in exactly one week and i'm starting to get nervous about the trip, mostly the flight and the entire traveling over there alone process.  Its a long flight!  I hope to update this blog frequently so you can follow my trip along the way!
